1. WHAT ARE SHIVA LINGAMS? Shiva Lingams are Stones that form naturally, miraculously, in the Narmada River in India. Composed mostly of quartzite, chalcedony and agate, there are several theories of how they form their bodies and their varied markings, including the possibility that they come from a meteorite having landed in the River many ages ago. They have been traditionally harvested by local monks at specific times of the year. Their classic “lingam” shape is mostly created in the turbulence of the forceful river. The monks traditionally would hand finish and continue to smooth their surface and then wax or oil them before standing them in Temples.

While the mystery of who they are and why they've come remains, the very real power and wonder they embody has been recognized and honored in sacred rituals in India for thousands of years. Their profound gift of offering all of us here an immediate palpable connection with the heart of the Earth Mother is what makes the invitation of the Peace Across the Planet Project possible for us now. Enough humans are finally ready to listen with them and join them in restoring the peace and harmony they embody, and that lives at the heart of the Earth Mother.

2. WHAT IS SACRED STONE ACUPUNCTURE? In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the anatomy of the physical body is described and experienced as being interwoven with an energy anatomy of channels called meridians, through which life force energy, or qi, flows. When there is optimal health on all levels (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual), the qi flows freely and nourishes all parts of being, while spontaneously releasing all that is no longer needed. In most of us, however, the "normal" course of life creates blockages to this free flow, and if these blockages persist over time, they create dis-ease, and eventually, death. At certain points in the meridian system, the qi is most easily accessed, and in the practice of acupuncture fine needles are inserted into the skin at these points, connecting with the blockages and releasing them to re-establish the flow of life within us.

The meridian system in our bodies is analogous to the Crystalline Grid in the Earth Mother's body. And the Shiva Lingams, in asking to be planted vertically into the Earth at particular points where the Intent for Peace is held, offer us the profound gift of grounding our intent for Peace directly into the flow of life within the Earth Mother's body, immediately co-creating life, where before there was disharmony and death. We are being invited to heal ourselves and the Earth simultaneously, exponentially, now.

3. WHAT IS THE CRYSTALLINE GRID? The Grid is the core geometric pattern and flow of all of Life on Earth, and of the Earth Mother herself. Each of us, and all of our thoughts, feelings and actions, as well as that of all other beings on the planet – animal, plant and stone – had their origin within and from the living, evolving hologram that is the Crystalline Grid. Every choice is recorded here, in the bones of the Earth Mother. We communicate, consciously and un-consciously, with all other beings through the Grid, and any change we make in our self or the world around us impacts All of Life via this exquisitely sensitive, constantly changing web that is both energy and form.

The crystalline bodies of Stones are the "bones" of the planet, and are being charged with recording and storing every event, both internal and external, of every being throughout the Earth Mother's existence; they form a physical manifestation of the Grid. Always at hand, always in service, they offer us the wisdom of all ages, all ways, now. 4. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN INTENT HOLDER? An Intent Holder is one who has the willingness, trust and courage to hold the sacred space within their heart that these Shiva Lingams are offering us through the Peace Across the Planet Project. This is not a one-time agreement, but rather an ongoing daily practice of living, breathing and being this Intent. And out of this daily practice flow the practical details of cultivating a relationship with a particular Shiva, locating an appropriate place on the land for it to be established, calling a community together to gather with the Shiva for ongoing sacred rituals, raising the funds to cover the costs of bringing that Shiva to the community and contributing to the costs of maintaining this website and other Project-wide expenses, and being in clear communication with the other Intent Holders, and the community as a whole.

Intent Holders are invited to organize ceremonies concurrently with all other Shiva Communities as alerted by the Earth Elementals, as well as to initiate any specific ceremony based on their own evolving respectful awareness of the ever changing multi-dimensional relationships within their home community (to us, community means the Plant Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom, the Mineral Kingdom, and the human species, ALL of us). Any ceremony initiated by a particular Intent Holder is firstly offered to Marilyn and Tohmas who then return their support in providing their perspective of the ceremony's alignment with the BIG PICTURE intention and space of the Peace project.

Being an Intent Holder is an invitation to grow and be more than any of us ever imagined we are or could be. Saying "yes" to this is saying "yes" to limitlessness in our own lives and All of Life on the Earth now.

5. I DON'T FEEL READY TO BE AN INTENT HOLDER BUT WANT TO PARTICIPATE. WHAT CAN I DO?
First check the "Locations & Intent Holders" page on this website to see if there's an Intent Holder in your area. If so, contact her/him to find out about attending the next gathering and joining the community near you.

If there's no Intent Holder nearby, or even if there is, you may wish to purchase a small Shiva Lingam for your own personal space, indoors or out, and synchronously participate in the rituals that way. Having a Shiva is not at all a requirement, but inviting one of these sacred beings into your life and doing ongoing ritual with it (both the rituals offered on this website as well as any way of being in sacred space with it that you're inspired to do/be) is an immense support for all the ways you are choosing to evolve and grow. 6. HOW DOES ALL OF THIS MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD TODAY?
You make a difference with each conscious choice, as do all of us. By opening our hearts in conscious action in respectful relationship with all the Kingdoms on this planet, we co-create the new paradigm we have all heard so much about. There is no waiting. It becomes what we choose now. It is what we imagine it to be and is manifest through our immediate actions, now. Each of us is responsible for all that is. Each of us is a vital, living element in the equation of fear or love that determines the form of manifestation of everything in our lives: our businesses, our relationships, the 3D details of time and space that we each uniquely choose. Our most important job as humans is to focus all our love and energy on managing our own life force. When we do this and then combine with others doing the same, exponential wave patterns of divine love become the dominant form, and manifestation follows this intent. Each of us makes an incalculable difference in each moment. We need to keep choosing the biggest picture possible and then having the wisdom and commitment to keep focused on that big picture during these intense times.
